Contacts

This is a private reference site, not a government office. It cannot confirm whether someone is in custody, release an inmate, post bond, change visitation status, or pull an official booking record. Use the official Lee County, court, or state contacts below for those actions.

Official Lee County Contacts

For local custody questions, start with the Lee County Detention Facility or the Lee County Sheriff's Office. Public-record requests that are not available through the online roster are routed through the County Attorney's office.

State Prison Custody

Use the North Carolina Department of Adult Correction for Sanford Correctional Center and other state prison, probation, or parole records. The Lee County jail roster does not cover NC DAC custody.

Use the most specific record path available before calling an office.

  • For someone booked into the county jail, use jail inmate records and then call the jail if the live roster appears delayed.
  • For a booking photo or profile image, check jail roster mugshots and use the county records route when a photo is not posted.
  • For charges, hearings, or case status after booking, use court records after a jail arrest and the Clerk's Office or District Attorney contacts as appropriate.
  • For a facility-specific question, use the detention facility pages listed in the footer.
  • For a sentenced state prisoner, search the NC DAC offender locator rather than the Lee County roster.
  • For federal or immigration custody, use the federal BOP locator or ICE Online Detainee Locator because Lee County does not operate those systems.
